Hi,

Currently starting up dt hangs without displaying gui, crashing or generating
system errors. Output from 'darktable -d all' is:

[memory] at startup

[memory] max address space (vmpeak): 165928 kB

[memory] cur address space (vmsize): 165928 kB

[memory] max used memory (vmhwm ): 5552 kB

[memory] cur used memory (vmrss ): 5552 kB

[defaults] found a 64-bit system with 6112500 kb ram and 4 cores [fswatch_new]
fswatch not supported on your platform [camera_control] creating new context
d51020 [camera_control] loaded 1451 camera drivers.

I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 and have gone through the process of getting rid of my
GIT build and Pascal's unstable repositories, running sudo apt-get purge
darktable, deleting everything I can think of to clean up and reinstalling the
standard Ubuntu version (which I think is 1.0.5 although it doesn't get far
enough to display a version number). Have we got a list of all the stuff that
needs to go to get a clean start (or some other way of getting back to a
working state)?

Rgds,
Rob.
