Source and target language don't really matter in this context, but ok,
then let's take some examples where the original name is in English :-)
In German and Swedish, California is called Kalifornien.
In Danish, the United Stated of America is called Amerikas Forenede Stater,
while California is called Californien.
In French, New Zealand is called Nouvelle-Zélande.
Besides, keeping sRGb as is and yet translating Adobe RGB to Adobe RVB

I'm not saying that I agree with that policy, because I don't. My point is
just that if there is an already well-used French term, let's not confuse
French users by using an English term that they're not used to. So if RVB
is much more recognizable to a French user than RGB (I don't know if that's
the case?), I suggest using RVB consistently, i.e. "Adobe RVB" *and*
"sRVB". If RGB is equally or less recognizable as RVB, then let's stick to
RGB. Just my two cents.
