I have mine set in my cameras metadata.  dt imports it and it shows in the
accompanying xmp file.

no.  dt reads it from the camera metadata

I can use sqlitebrowser on library.db and sort browse data film_rolls
field, select all using <path-to-change>, paste <new-path> in "edit
database cell" and they are all changed.  that is the closest to a "find &
replace" as I see.
