I have to set "2019, Jean-Luc C." in the "Author" field of the import menu, so 
every photo I import gets tagged accordingly.
And I have to modify this field each year. It would be easier if, for instance, 
I could replace the year value with $(Exif_Year), or some other exif value.

Er... you mean, that you typed "$Year" into the field, in the import menu 
options, and it automatically retrieves the correct value from the exifs at 
import each time a photo gets imported ?
So, if you import a photo you took in 2015, it will automatically write "2015" 
into the correct metadata field ?
