Subject: [darktable-user] Importing, How do you do it?
To: [email protected] <[email protected]>

Newbie alert, just started using this program.

So I finally figured out that dt does not copy files from an SD Card (or
camera) into a disk location. (I find this odd coming from a Lightroom
environment). I must use a file manager to copy files to a permanent disk
location, then "import" into dt. I find that awkward and I'm looking for a
better solution, one that is more elegant.
