I seldom "reformat" a flash card, but do "move" the images from the card,
so I start with a clean directory list and cannot find a reason for an
out-of-date list of files. When I move the files from the flash card, I
do a copy to two separate locations, then fdup to make sure my copies are
complete before removing the files from the flash card.
