Issue resolved.  :-)

Corrupted(?) SD-card.

I couldn't understand how others were able to import-copy from an SD-Card, and 
I could not. So...

I found a different card, and formatted it in my camera. Took a picture, and 
was able to import-copy into/from DT! TaDa.

Went back to the original (problematic) card, double checked, import-copy not 
possible. Formatted card in camera, took a picture, and was able to import-copy 
from DT. (yeah)

No idea what was wrong with that card, but all is well now. Thanks to all who 
responded, and aided with my resolution to this problem.

Now it's off to investigate Rapid-photo-downloader more fully. Looks 
interesting, thanks for the tip about that product.
