My first impression is: The basecurve needs to be modified in the
lower left, *very* close to the corner.  One of the control points
must be set insanely close to the point (0, 0), slightly (i.e., one
screen pixel) moved to the right.  Unfortunately, we don't have yet
the logarithmic scale there, as this would make manual editing more
simple.

This confirms my observations with my camera.
