IMHO: Beta: Generally available to all with a warning that something may break as added/updated features and bug fixes are introduced. Documented.
Interim release (feature): Sent (via link or zip) to those specifically who have an issue needing an updated/new feature. Undocumented until next beta/release. Not posted on the list. (Requests may be received by posting but Declude has the choice of whether or not to respond or incorporate. Interim release (bug fix): Posted on the list for all but sent (via link or zip) specifically to those who request it. Documented but not publicly, only by request.
