Cameron, >>Also, you know MS is going to remove functions and commands as the architecture grows.. Unfortunately, as our experience over the past years has proven as developers - "ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do or die". In this case "die" is the proverbial scrapheap, or a redundant developer.
I have to say, being an AS/400 developer as well, every time I turn my back I find a Microsoft knife in it. And I have never been overwhelmed by the quality of their products (albeit they improve with successive releases - SQL Server, Visual Studio). More controls and easier development with Delphi, better resilience with the AS/400 etc. But I'm still making a buck and still working with Delphi, the AS/400 and those Microsnottie products. Wonder where we'll be in 10 years ? Darren __________________________________________________ Delphi-Talk mailing list -> [email protected] http://www.elists.org/mailman/listinfo/delphi-talk
