All of Borland's application-lifecycle-management tools and services. 
The tools include Tempo, Caliber RM, Together, and StarTeam. The 
application-middleware products include Borland Enterprise Server and 
CORBA Services.

If, like me, you don't know what most of those are, then that's a pretty 
good indication that Borland has lost its focus on software-development 
tools.

David I's article didn't say anything about spinning off. It doesn't 
sound like the company is splitting into two companies. Instead, Borland 
seeks some other company to buy a part of Borland's product line.
