well, yeah,but atleast the results of a crash is not as catastrophic.

Me either. I didn't even have much trouble with D4.03 (OK, 4.00 _was_
crap, we all know about that), tho I did only use it for 1 or 2 "major"
projects.

Personally, I haven't had a decient crash of Delphi 5 since beta 1....
