Exactly. People say they really need a drink. You tell everyone that they ARE going to get a drink soon.
Then you ask again if there is anything they want. Even if people are parched as (or beached as ;-) they're more likely to think of what other things they want than repeating that they need a drink. -----Original Message----- From: delphi-boun...@delphi.org.nz [mailto:delphi-boun...@delphi.org.nz] On Behalf Of Jolyon Smith Sent: Wednesday, 14 October 2009 8:09 p.m. To: todd.martin...@gmail.com; 'NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi List' Subject: Re: [DUG] Presentation in Christchurch - any other meetings in Chch? Response to the news that I have seen is a mixture of *shock* or at least surprise as well as dismay. In other words, people were *expecting* 64-bit. When people already think they are getting what they want they don't necessarily make a point of asking for it. _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: delphi@delphi.org.nz Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to delphi-requ...@delphi.org.nz with Subject: unsubscribe _______________________________________________ NZ Borland Developers Group - Delphi mailing list Post: delphi@delphi.org.nz Admin: http://delphi.org.nz/mailman/listinfo/delphi Unsubscribe: send an email to delphi-requ...@delphi.org.nz with Subject: unsubscribe
