I don't know how it looks to you but for me more than 300EU for a decent
(not latest technology) video card it pretty much. And this is only one
example.
This is because I can use GREAT software for free, (like IrfanView and
100 other great free programs), but you will never find a computer for free.
If you compare the prices of the *latest *software (Delphi 2006, Vista,
etc) with the prices of the *latest *hardware, you will see that without
a minimum 2500 EURO you can't buy a computer:

Plus you can still use a 7 year old software like Delphi 7 (some of us
are still using Delphi 3 and Delphi 5 which is MORE than 9 years old),
but you can't use a 7 (or 9) years old hardware. Right?

I really think that Delphi is not so expensive and (when you find a good
version) it deserve the money.

Good point !!
Let's hope for as many updates as possible.

I don't want to criticize again Borland (wink! wink! CodeGear) for its
update policy, but I really don't understand why they never EVER made an
update for a Delphi version where to fix ALL bugs.
There could be only one reason: if a version will be so damn good, then
nobody will upgrade to the next!
I am right?
