We are using Delphi
6 and have a few large projects that we constantly get linker errors
on.
Sometimes things
will work fine, even for days at a time, but often the linking stage
will either:
- fail with "Out of memory while expanding stream"
- fail with rlink32 error XXXX.
- fail with an access violation in rlink32.
- freeze and us 100% cpu.
Sometimes a rebuild
will work correctly, and sometimes we have to go through all sorts of rituals
like restarting Delphi or the computer, building another more simple project etc
etc.
I have seen a few
posts with this same problem but no resolutions.
Any ideas on what we
could do about it?
