It's quite horrific how much effort it is to switch to a new version of
Delphi. My only consolation is that it would be far harder if I was
using visual studio. I've been upgrading our flagship product to
BDS2006 and it's mostly now running. I just need a spell checker and
TeeChart integration with QuickReports and QRDesign, but other than that
I'm almost finished. I've also been spending quite a bit of time
replacing all the graphics on the buttons and stuff - I finally found a
TSpeedButton, TBitBtn descendant that supports PNGs. The previous
graphics were done in ms paint about 8 years ago - need I say more.

Robert (who works for me) has the same problem, the rlink32 error in
particular. I have only ever seen it maybe once or twice ever on my machine
(which runs Win2K while his is XP), but sometimes it drives him nuts; some
weeks he has it constantly, some weeks not at all. Our plan right now is to
ignore it until we finally get around to upgrading - copies of D2006 are
still sitting on the shelf.
