While Sun Studio is still preferred, gcc is an officially supported/
allowed part of the Solaris CBE as of Solaris 10. (All AMD64 binaries
in Solaris 10 from ON were built with gcc, since they had to do their
port before Studio's AMD64 port was ready. They've switched to Studio
in Nevada though.)
