I was of the understanding that to integrate into ON, you needed to
use Forte.  We have always worked to try and get all GNOME apps
building with Forte, and I don't think there is a single part of
JDS that is built with gcc.  It seems better to try and get them
working with Forte than using gcc.  We should consider gcc if we
really can't get this working with Forte, I'd think.
