We currently believe it is a solveable problem, although a non trivial one (current estimates are about a man year of effort is required for the various problem points). It's also a worst case problem for us - it's nasty grinding debugging of the very worst kind, made even harder because the software doesn't *want* you to know what it needs in order to run correctly. And if you contact the DRM makers about making their software run properly under Wine, they get the heebie jeebies. Which is unfortunate; our goal is simply to make their software work as they intend.
