As much as folks love to debate names ... this isn't a real problem. Some l People call PMC members simply "PMC" and while this might grate on some people, it's not a real problem. It does not actually cause any bad outcomes other than the annoyance of a few people.
There is nothing to solve here. Creating a new name will simply add yet more confusion and something else to get wrong.
