Do any of you think about the collaborated list of FAQs at OOoAuthors? Do you
have ideas of how we can make them more accessible to OOo's users? Even that set
is not complete, btw. I'm finding some good information has been omitted, so we
still haven't a true list of all available FAQs in one place, at this time.
I thought that oooauthors.org was a sandbox or workshop for creating or maintaining doco and that the intention was to collate the FAQs for publication on the OOo site.
Maintaining the FAQ in two places can't be much fun. If creating and maintaining in the Plone system and migrating them to the OOo site is not working, why can't you just use IssueTracker and CVS ? Perhaps if people want to submit or modify a FAQ they post to this list, or they can use the Plone site as a FAQ submission spot if they prefer the web interface.
I find the FAQ very helpful for responding to email sent to webmaster@ as often their question has already been answered :) I tend to read and refer to those at http://documentation.openoffice.org/faqs/index.html as it is easier to scan or read the titles.
