I should do some time tests to answer that question fairly. I have only
visited
to give group permissions to new members, and that page takes 1-2 minutes
(easily) to load. That page seems exceptional, and is in the ZMI management
interface, not in the public area. I have not visited the site in a mode of
hopping from page to page in the public areas too much lately. I will make it a
point to hang out there, and I will do a time test as I go. This will be the
best way to show what life is at this Plone site with dial up... I do think that
it is faster than some other Plone sites, but again, I should give you real
data. I'll come back with some in a day or two...
