I've downloaded the build and tested it a bit. It looks good so far, no crashes, no dataloss, but many nice features... I played with the 'Scale' tab page and I think that I've understand it. I will start with the spec this weekend.

I didn't found a way to switch the minor grid lines on. This feature seems not to be in the build? Only the menu "YAxis Main Grid" is active, but no other grid menu. Or do you meant the minor interval marks at the axis?
The Minor grids can be made visible only by choosing 'Insert'->'Grids...' from the menu. In the upcoming dialog you can check the checkbox 'Y axis' for the Minor Grids for example. It seems that this is not the most intuitive way to switch on grid lines, maybe we can find a better way in future, for example some additional checkboxes for grids at the scale tabpage? But there needs to be some similar style of handling for the different chart elements. I haven't thought this through completely.
