I'm not upgrading any sites that are already CF5 and which work
perfectly well. All new development I do in MX and deploy to a new MX
box. Any old sites that require additional work doing to them may be
upgraded to MX based on whether the MX route proves to be a better
solution for the site(s) in question.

Tell me more. I don't want to, but I feel pressure to upgrade, even
though
there is no specific need to.

How many of us are sticking to CF5 and are perfectly happy with it? How
many
felt they had to upgrade and why?

I had a complete nightmare. I was trying to upgrade on IIS but it kept
trying to install on the built in stand alone server. In the end I had
to install it on the stand alone, run the batch file to switch it over
to IIS then change some variable as I run a server with virtual sites.
Can't remember what this setting is or where but I am sure somebody else
will let you know.

It took me all day to do the upgrade and the server was down for all
that time.

I trapped my finger in the server room door.

Can someone give me some nightmare stories so I know the worst that can
happen with upgrades on live websites.
