that is a mis-use of that term - i would want to describe it to parabola users
more accurately

perhaps "robust version" captures the intention better? - but frankly, that
sounds like nonsense to me - it implies that the arch version is not robust - if
that were true, we should definitely remove the "likely to explode" version,
so it does not brick anyone's hardware

i must assume that only you are misunderstanding the term; and the upstream
meant that it releases less often, or will have fewer API- or ABI-breaking
changes, or a similar conventional meaning of "stable"

to bring back flashrom, flashrom-atable would need to be re-packaged anyways;
because i set flashrom-atable to replace flashrom - so we may as well get the
descriptions right first
