Hi Daniel,
Thanks for this idea, this is a great one.

Excellent, we can use that.
I thought about a 2-3 week basis, but I felt it provided too little continuity, it's too spread out. And if you miss one, the next one isn't for such a long time.
I think it's better to make them weekly, at least at first. And just have the understanding that there is no expectation of anyone to attend. We can make it more frequent and less formal (and shorter). You see what I mean?
weekly will be difficult for all of us I think, really even if we are interested, this is really to often for us to have that time to dedicate.
The idea of making it shorter is so it requires a lighter time commitment for both the speaker and the attendees.
I'm trying to make it "frequent and easy" instead of "infrequent and big". It's a different approach. I think it might work out well.
"Frequent and easy" on a "every 2 or 3 week basis" could work too ;) that will let us more time to organize it and being present.
For the documents you want to put on line, may be using the Document&Files part of the site will be good for every body. I can help you for this if you need, and if Charles and Louis agreed.
I think that we could learn a lot from other projects and/or initiatives in that kind of irc sessions. May be we could put a monthly program in place so we know which irc conf we want to assist to and make sure we will be present ?
Kind regards Sophie
