So far, two options have been expressed:
-Raman has been nominated to be the next HI lead by the HI founders
-Sankarshan proposed two persons to lead the project.

The "tradition" clearly favors the first option, and it is agreable for
me. But given the circumstances I wonder if Sankarshan would like to
send in the two people in order to help.

Yes, Sankarshan would. :)
As a further clarification, I am not proposing my name as the Co-Lead for hi.openoffice.org. What I had put forward as a proposal was that resources could be volunteered if need be to ensure that timelines are met.

What is wanted here is a "rebirth" of the Hindi community of OOo, along the following lines -localization of the hindi builds to be restarted -community management (users support, community development sending local developpers who have the skills in the central development projects of OOo) -local marketing and promotion (it seems that this has never stopped, but we would like to see that on the HI mailing lists) -documentation -Quality Assurance of the localized builds -better communication with the other Indic communities but also with OOo and the NLC.

I agree. These are the topics which are aggressively looked into by other Indic L10n teams in their L10n projects. It would do a world of good if it is stringently implemented.

Regards
Sankarshan
