Have you installed fondu ? With 2.0rc3 (2.0) you still have to install
fondu. Next OOo version ( 2.0.1 ) will be more complete, and include
fondu inside.

For me it it appears that Courier 12 font antialiasing doesn't seem to
work or at least not as overtly smooth in Mac OOo 2.0r3 as it is in
NeoWrite.
If fondu is not here, I agree. May you please verify you are able to see
all natives fonts in writer ? (just try to choose a new font).
