Greetings!

Have you installed fondu ? With 2.0rc3 (2.0) you still have to install fondu. Next OOo version ( 2.0.1 ) will be more complete, and include fondu inside.

Thanks for the tip and rapid response!

Next start, you'll be able to use native fonts. Note that just the first start with fondu is longer (because native fonts extraction).

By "native fonts" I assume you mean those that NeoO can read but Mac OOo can't? There are a few, among which AdineKirnberg-Script Regular, Balerina-Normal, Aristrocrat and Balzac Regular I really need in from Neo, especially since my recent stumble with NeoO1.1 puts it out of action (see topic "Clicking Menu Bar Makes NeoO1.1 Quit"). I installed Fondu then restarted my Mac then re-installed Mac OOo 2.0r3 and apparently it converted a majority of NeoO fonts, but nowhere near all the fonts available in my Font Book, but that's alright; there's just around ten critical ones I need. Still, be nice to have Fondu flag a user of fonts it can't convert for some reason or other to kill uncertainty. I'll be glad when OOo automatically runs a Fondu-like program upon installation and maybe even as a option of auto-converting any downloaded new fonts which land in your Font book because regular non-techie type normal folks would find this whole font conversion process intimidating.

For me it it appears that Courier 12 font antialiasing doesn't seem to work or at least not as overtly smooth in Mac OOo 2.0r3 as it is in NeoWrite.

If fondu is not here, I agree. May you please verify you are able to see all natives fonts in writer ? (just try to choose a new font).

There doesn't appear to be any real change in Courier 12 or if there's any it's too slight to notice, however there's a pleasant marked change in other fonts; a noticeable smoothing. Also, Courier font sizes larger than 12 seem to more resemble Courier as it's meant to be, though any smoothing is not as evident as it is in other fonts. The Courier 12 version in OOo looks more "blocky" and angular than normal, resembling the "digital" numbers found the bottom of bank checks. It's really ugly. Maybe I just have a bad version of Courier, so I'm on a Courier hunt.
