A few comments:
Thanks for the corrections. The modified page is already online. The
title graphics is not yet modified.
If you would like to use some of Rafaella's suggestions, just drop me a
note. It's no big deal to modify the page again.
* In the fourth section, the localized Contributing link should be used,
i.e., http://it.openoffice.org/contribuire/
(that part of our website is stable, so you can link to it safely).
I am not sure whether it is wise to have different contribution pages
per language. I mean some of the contribution pages of the Native
Language Projects invite to help in QA, translation etc., others invite
to donate money. Wouldn't it be better to have a common contributions
page and get this page localized? That's why, at the moment, I left this
link as it is. Of course, if you think that these concerns are not
valid, just inform me and I'll modify the link as suggested.
May we get some numbers? Will we be able to know how many users are
notified of the update availability and how many of them get to this
page? It would be an invualuable piece of information for us.
I will ask Frank Mau to collect some numbers and post them here on the list.
