IIRC, the 'qa' subdirs are not part of the normal build [the 'to get a running OOo' one ;-)], they are tests that you can run once you have the OOo built. So - from my point of view, you can give them a smaller priority for now; I'd focus on getting 'sw' (Writer), or 'sc' (Calc) now, they are big, and could be good for the comparison with dmake (see my other mail). > Are assignments done with "=" and ":=" equivalent? From what I know, := expands the right side first, before the assignment; see http://tools.openoffice.org/dmake/dmake_4.3.html for more. > Is there actual interest in changing the build system of OOo? I for one am interested in anything that could speedup the build, or make the build less monolithic [but unfortunately I have no power wrt. the decision ;-)] Regards, Kendy --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [email protected] For additional commands, e-mail: [email protected]
