Hi, I think UIMA-RUTA (Rule-based Text Annotation) describes the main concepts of textmarker quite well, and I also like the fact that there is one name, which is extended to describe sub-components.
The package identifier would be "org.apache.uima.ruta" and in plain text different variants can be used, e.g., UIMA Ruta or UIMA RuTA. So I change my vote to: UIMA-RUTA: +1 A short summary of current votes: UIMA-RUTA +1 UIMA-TRL +1 UIMA-RUTAL +1 UIMA-RUCOLA +1 UIMA-RUCOTALA +1 Peter On 23.04.2013 09:39, Peter Klügl wrote: > On 22.04.2013 18:35, Richard Eckart de Castilho wrote: >>>> If it does replace it, then the current votes are: >>>> >>>> RUTAL +2 >>>> TRL +2 >>>> RUCOTALA +1 >> Great ;) Now I can safely cast my vote without causing trouble. >> >> RUCOLA +1 >> TRL +0 >> >> RUCOTALA is too long for my taste and RUTAL sounds like some medicine. >> >> I just like the salad metaphor ;) > Next adaption: > What about UIMA-RUTA?
