I do not want to undervalue the idea's and draft of others, but I do
like this one most. Simple, clear. One can directly see where he wants
to go, no time spent by reading, just hit on the right spot.
Maybe a news-feed somewhere (on the right) But that can wait also.

Start it tomorrow, leave the rest of the site (nearly the) same for time
being, and improve that step by step - or all in one if possible.
