Agreed, my choice would have been why.openoffice.org. It does information for those who want to know really well. You can get as much or as little info as you want. I'm not so down with the look in general, but then I like lots of contrast... maybe I'm just overdramatic, but the information and the way it's delivered is great. It's not a Home page however, different function.
