On the one hand I would recommend that as well, on the other hand, many of the OOo versions that are shipped with Linux distributions (or are in their repositories, are unofficial and modified versions. I'm afraid we would get in a political argument... I am not sure whether there is something like aptget:// which you can use to enforce one click deb/rpm install.
