I really liked your idea of the action statements, and, well, we're
going to use them.
But I really disagree with this assessment about icons. I'm siding with
Louis, Christian, etc here. Icons are accepted universally as a
pictorial representation of actions. And, I think some of the ideas
discussed here, and what to use, will not only be helpful but add a
modicum of interest to the home page.
Need I say...you've been outvoted? :/
