I thought that this was more of a limitation of Adobe Reader 7.x. In previous 
versions of Reader, you used to be able to save form data with the PDF form, 
however this is no longer possible, at least not in Linux, I can't speak for 
the Windows version since I don't have it. Then again, it may also depend on 
the export options that are set when the XForm is saved to FPDF, there should 
be an attribute that can be set to indicate whether the form is read/write or 
just read only, but perhaps this attribute isn't implemented in the OOo PDF 
export dialogue.
