Hi jonathon
thanks for your answer
I have found the PDF will work okay, but you probably need to do
the File -> Export to PDF option and choose the FDF output option.
This give the Form PDF format which allows the interactions.
well, first i forgot to setup the button as a submit one, sorry :(
btw, XForms checks (such as mandatory fields) are not implemented
when exported to PDF
As far as I know there is no option for embedding Javascript
within PDF.
:(
even with external tools ?
From the Adobe website:
"However, Adobe Reader 7.0 and Acrobat 7.0 provide support for
JavaScript, which could be used by the creator of an Adobe PDF file
to animate elements on a page. Creators of Adobe PDF files should
make sure any animation is done in a manner that is consistent with
the standard."
Looking at obvious methods for it, however, did not find any way of
doing it. The XSL project does not support it yet, and therefore the
FOP framework does not yet either. These are the most likely with
open source projects to implement this feature.
