For Adobe this is good, you can buy a licence for their product (forgotten the name) and that actually can save filled out form data. Maybe it's a bug in acroread 7. Has anyone tried other PDF-readers? There are at least xpdf, acrobatviewer (java, seems to come from adobe, too), ggv, the KDE-incarnation of a viewer, mgv, gv, gpdf, ...
