With my ex-employment lawyer's hat on sacking someone for something they said rather dyspepticly to an MP would be a much weaker ground than trying to do so over something they had posted on the internet. In either case I'd not want to build a case on it, which is why there may be more to the story than meets the eye. Who knows.
