I haven't touched any of those. They were there before. Please feel free to 
improve them.

I think so, so that we can really remove SVN and avoid all confusion. We need 
to decide what we do with "retired" projects. Some xwiki-retired organization 
on github or simply inside xwiki-contrib and just mention the "retired" in a 
top level README?
