There's also the question of where to put retired projects. Right now I see only 2 options: 1) leave them in xwiki-contrib but add a README file at top level mentioning what they've been replaced with 2) create a xwiki-retired organization and move retired projects there Before we make a choice we need to agree on the definition of "retired". Here's what I think it is: - projects for which there's a new and better way of doing it - projects that have not been active for a certain time (like the Attic in the ASF - http://attic.apache.org/). Done with a VOTE on a case by case basis If we choose 2) maybe we rename the org to xwiki-attic instead of xwiki-retried. WDYT? Personally I'm hesitating. If github had a better top level repo org I'd choose 1) but seen the current way it's handled I think I'm slightly in favor of 2).
