Patcher2k viafb is said to be better than via opensource fb driver and that is what I am using. The advice below is related to patcher2k or via open source fb driver?
If I should use patcher2k as a module how can I know the modprobe parameters? If one must use patcher2k patch as a module than how to enable bootsplash? Thanks, Goktug PS: Is there any uptodate patches against patcher2k kernel patch? As far s I know Mark Adams patch and irq reenabler patch of Stefan Lucke are those. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nicolas Huillard Sent: 11 Ekim 2005 Salı 11:57 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [directfb-users] TV Out Bu Bacoo a écrit : > Hello > > Is it somehow possible to get DirectFB working outside my TV out? You lmust turn on/off TV-out when loading the kernel frame-buffer driver. Depending on the driver version, it may be : modprobe viafb mode=720x576 bpp=32 refresh=50 TVon=1 TVoverscan=1 or "TV_ON=1" (resp. "=0") You may have the following in /etc/modules : viafb mode=720x576 bpp=32 refresh=50 TVon=1 TVoverscan=1 ...or your kernel frame-buffer driver is compiled-in and you're stuck... (recompile the kernel and make the driver a loadable module). -- NH _______________________________________________ directfb-users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-users _______________________________________________ directfb-users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.directfb.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/directfb-users
