I know I am a little bit out of topic but could not help myself to ask these ones :)
I want to play a video(MPEG2 DVD-STD) with my EPIA box (ML800A). With unichrome x windows driver it is %30-40 and full colors. But with dfb it is %100, lots of framedrops and there is less color than X. ( It says can not enable color key and I do not know how to, so video is in less color than it is original) How about for your M10 box? Do you think is it possible to use holly MPEG acceleration of CLE266 with dfb and how to enable this coloring issue ? Dennis has released a patch against 0.9.20 (I guess it is for testing purpose so it is against an older release of dfb) and patch againts libmpeg3. Truely, I was not in capable of understanding whether thess patches makes the MPEG acceleration or not? I tried to test but had even no success to patch against 0.9.20 (referring to my previous mailings in this list) Shortly, I see very interest in DFB and EPIA, but I could not find any way how to work these together with my newbie knowledge. As I know you are an experienced one with this "DFB vs. EPIA", I'd like to ask how it is possible to get maximum performance with EPIA. Maybe I have to replace my ML800A...? I am asking your personal experince with EPIA avs DFB. Sorry for the busy questions :) Regards, Goktug -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nicolas Huillard Sent: 11 Ekim 2005 Salı 12:55 To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [directfb-users] TV Out Göktuğ Yıldırım a écrit : > Is there any way to change parameters for built-in driver? They will both use the same hardware, so if you are sure not to use them at the same time, it could work. When I was doing that, I didn't really understand how it worked, and stopped compiling both, just to be sure. > I currently do not use TVOut. But will be using very soon. I'll update my patch (TV-out for VT1622, present on M10k mobo), one day... and send it to the list. > Thanks in advance, > > Goktug > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nicolas Huillard > Sent: 11 Ekim 2005 Salı 12:41 > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [directfb-users] TV Out > > Göktuğ Yıldırım a écrit : > >>Patcher2k viafb is said to be better than via opensource fb driver and > > that > >>is what I am using.
