Because it removes any distinguishing factors between the RSPs, and
cheapens the value of the value add, and of the registration services
themselves, since this is one of the main things that distinguished
RSPs from other RSPs. With there no longer being any difference
between the people who know how to do this themselves, and invest the
time and work into offering and supporting these services on their own
and those who can't do anything but drop in a premade script, then the
only thing left to compete on is price, and that will drive the value
of the value add and the registration services down to almost nothing.
And in the long run this will hurt OpenSRS since they are pretty much
eliminating one of the main business models that an RSP can use to
distinguish themselves, and this the motivation to participate in
OpenSRS.
