I've pointed a few of my domains to a new server. I think i did 2 of them
last Wed. (maybe early Thurs.). Shouldn't they be pointing to their new
locations by now? On my mac i use anarchie to trace them, or test in the
browser. What the typical duration for propagation? Once i make the
changes at opensrs, when does this info get submitted to nsi, and how often
does nsi update their system to be reflected across the net?
the domain in question is 69-e.org and www.69-e.org
their new server is 204.180.42.2
and they should no longer be pointing to the MyDomain.com parking page.
Is is possible that my DSL provider holds pages in some kind of cache, that
is making it take longer for me see the results in my browser or in
anarchie?
any ideas?
