Yes, it would Elliot. You are right...and upon re-reading John
Demcos message at cdnnet.ca I actually realize he doesn't say that
domains can't be registered pre-Cira, just that you now have to go
to an accredited CIRA registrar instead.
His message did however give me the impression that anyone wanting
a new .ca domain name after cdnnet was closed would be left waiting
until CIRA was up and running or would be placing an Advance
registration. Obviously I was wrong in that assumption.
