Personally I find most unsolicited email distasteful as a rule. Given
what you say below you distinguish between all the bible thumpers etc
that spam and commercial spammers. To me they all fall into the one
class.
As for opt-in. That is a crock. Look at the majority of spam going
out now and you will find that they claim you have opted in for the
delivery even though you know full well you haven't.
Spam and UCE is not a simple issue. Market forces will cure a lot of
it, the rest is something we will all learn to deal with.
