I'm curious, what exactly do you have against Canadian courts?

Now just think... Why ohh why would they be taking only $0.50 profit?
Perhaps because they are going to spam your customers until they jumpship
from your web hosting, and go to your new registrar directly, thereby
cutting out your markup completely?
