That's for sure. Some may not understand that they don't have to deal
with NSI at all, especially because it's been the status quo for so many
years. We've had several customers pay NSI after their transfer has gone
through even though we told them they didn't have to and NSI would happily
take their money for a service they weren't providing.

Ok, let's see.
This would require:
1. appointment with notary, like now.
2. $20 (or more) payable to the notary for sign & seal (more for more than
that)
3. $10 (or more, if overseas) payable to a courier company to get it to
NSI before closing the next day (because we all know 5 NSI days are equal
to 2 Normal Person Business Days).
4. Knowing NSI, they would probably add a "Document Evaluation Fee" of
$10-$25 just because they have to look at legal-ish paper.
Hmmm. I think it's a conspiracy! Surely NSI, the Notary Publics of North
America and the courier companies are just laughing all the way to the
bank!
So, we pay $40 or more to transfer the domain, or $35 to renew it for a
year. Sounds like a great plan.

#2 proves that one, for sure!
